"I'm walkin' on sunshine"

Opening night was amazing! So much adrenaline, and after the show we were so happy we sang "This little light of mine." And there were so many hugs, I even got picked up and spun around. :)

Also, I'm still floored that Ryan (who plays Peter) has never been in a show before this. Um... WHAT!?!

Non-highlights of the show (but hilarious), Father Christmas accidentally falling down and blaming it on the "egg-nog" hahahha. Aslan tripping over his tail and also falling down. My voice cracking during "Deep Magic" ugh.

Well off to bake cupcakes and cookies for Key Club. :)

P.S. There are seven more shows so you should come out and see one!

Opening night tonight!

P.S. I'm the one in black and red by the blond haired guy. Photo credit to the Gaston Gazette.

Of course, it got better.

Hai.

I loved rehearsal last night. Except for the fact that I was running around like a crazy woman and ended up doing at least ten people's makeup. :) Which was actually really fun. Oh and at the last moment, one of my friends (who is a guy, so is incapable of doing makeup) informs us that he has to change makeup for another character. Not too fun. I ended up scrubbing the OIL BASED (UGH) makeup off his face and leaving it all gross looking, so we just made him a ghoul. Hahah

Here's a picture of my AMAZING makeup. (shout out to Ms. Kim)
Keep in mind that I forgot eyeliner and mascara. Uh. This was a pain in the bum to get off.

Explanation as to why I haven't posted: I have not wanted to get full swing into media stuff, (but I really have anyway), rehearsal has made me a tired, tired little girl, as of this Thursday we have one week until opening night (EEEK), etc. etc.

So, I don't even know when I'll be posting next, because if I don't handle myself well with everything I have going on I can't audition for Stuart Little this coming week. :(

BOO.

So, bye again.

P.S. Here's the website to buy tickets for Narnia: The Musical (aka the play I'm in). Clicky clicky on Narnia: The musical. :)

Yay!!

Oh Hai.

Guesses what?

"What?" says you.

I GOT IN THE PLAY!

Ah, the sweet relief. It's almost tangible.

I am one of the White Witch's Cruelies, specifically one of the Furies. The only Fury with a speaking part. :)

Happiness at its finest.

"maybe in the future, its gonna come back."

Okay. So apparently the cast list has been posted on facebook. Annnnnd apparently I can't see it yet, cause they haven't excepted me as their friend. I have this sinking feeling that I didn't get in though. :( Bleck. Oh well, not the end of the world. I'll update laters. Byes. :)

Happys

Just got back from my audition. :)

About 120 people tried out.

Buuuuuuut... I think I did the best I could.

And there is no more I can do.

I'm still on a theater high.

I LOVED IT.

Every second of being in the theater.

I was SO nervous. But I'm so glad I did it. SO.

Okay. Sorry for these posts that have no pictures, since my camera broke I've either been relying on my sister's camera or Photobooth.

Yeah, not lovin it so much.

Happy Christmastime peeps!

"In act one, nobody wanted my action dead or alive..."

Good goodness, yesterday my parentals decided that tonight should be my audition night.

My stomach is climbing up the walls. No idea where why I decided to mix two expressions like that.

But really. SO nervous.

Its tonight. At seven.

See? Even my sentences get all choppy and awkward.

Wait. . . maybe that's just normal for me.

Yeah, probably.

I know you're probably really tired of hearing this, but please pray.

And for a specific, not necessarily that I get in the play (though that'd be superb), but that my nerves are quieted and that I have courage.

Those are the biggies right now.

Nerves and courage. See I'm the type of person that is very outgoing around friends.

But when I have to get up in front of people . . . that courage is gone. I mean GONE.

I shake, I fidget, I talk fast, etc.

Nevertheless, I know, without a doubt, that God helps.

And that is why I am asking, no, insisting (!) for your prayers. (Okay, maybe its more like begging)

Now, without further ado, I have more government to do. Hey, guess what, that most definitely rhymed. :)

P.S. Once this audition is over, I'm sure you won't get as annoyed at all my silly nerves and dishing about it. Sorry for that by the way.

Since its less than two weeks until Christmas (WHAT!), I've decided to get in the Christmas spirit by making garlands with ribbon and Christmas ornaments, gingerbread, and a clove orange. Oh, and guess what? We still don't have a tree, but I'm not too upset actually.

Okay, people, my play audition in tonight (or tomorrow), so please, please, please pray for me. I'm SO nervous. You don't even know.

Well back to watching Gianda at Home. :)

"I wake up its a bad dream..." *

Last night I dreamed that I tried out for the play and they cast me in a different play than I had tried out for. And it was about a black family, and the only reason they wanted me was because I "looked ethnic." I woke up annoyed.

Also, my tryout is in three days, so please, please, please pray. I get so nervous about these things.

Funny story (I'm really sorry for my terrible transitions, but just a heads up, they probably won't get better), the other day, (aka a month ago), I was sitting at a red light with my Great Dane, and this lady pulls up and the kids in the back of her car start waving and blowing kisses at me. I think this is mildly humorous, but then the lady points at the kids, and mouths, "they're not mine!" Hilarious. I still love that lady to this day.

Props to my dad for going and getting sourdough and cinnamon-chip bread from the bakery yesterday. :) Da-lish.

Well, I have to go shopping for Samaritans Purse this morning with the Key Club, so I'd better go get ready.

Here's a picture I just found from my dad's newly restoredish computer.

I'm pretty sure this is a testament to how hot my family is. hahah

Why doesn't drama just go and play with someone else's life.

So. I have a small problemo. I have this awesome new friend who is hilarious and a lot like me. But my old friends are really jealous, even though they still have a little group (and I still hang out with them more than said new friend). Said new friend comes to the Key Club I'm in charge of, and since she and her brother don't have many friends there, I try to make them feel welcome. But this makes the old friends feel left out. I'm trying to balance both of them, but somehow my old friends take offense and talk about me behind my back. I'm not mad at them at all, but I wish they would come and talk to ME about it. Apparently one of the offended friends is going to "talk" (most likely text) to me about it, and I can't wait for the awkwardness to get out of the way, so everything can be normal.

Blegh. I wish friends never felt left-out. But I guess I need to work on being more inclusive. I don't even know.

On another note, I'm trying out for a play soon! Its Narnia the musical and I really really want to get in. Please send prayers and happy thoughts. I'm also performing in the gallery at the end of next semester and I'm going to sing this song! I know I've posted a lot of songs lately, but music is my love, so get over it.

Also, before I post the video, if anyone has advice on the friend situation that would be GREATLY appreciated. Loves!
