"I'm living in a age, that calls darkness light."

well. what was not intended as a break has me questioning the dedication to this blog. i guess the magical "i have a blog! OMG!" feeling has worn off.

today i took a practice SAT. man, it sucked. seriously. i'm pretty sure i got a zero in the math sections. blegh. anyway, my friend has been raving about picnik lately (i personally don't think it's all that great, but i've never really used it), and I decided to try and edit a photo.

here it be. don't judge me too harshly. please and thank yous.

the text was taken from this song by Arcade Fire.

such an awesome song and band. welp. i'll probably post a major catch up post soon, but i'm not feeling the urge to do that right now.

In which my sisters leave me

My sisters and honorary brother, JP left for San Francisco this morning. Without me. And I didn't even get up whe Emily was leaving, cause I was so tired. And now I feel like a bad person. Crap.

But... tonight one of my friends has invited me (and a bunch of other ladies) over for a girls night, which I'm really excited for, since we haven't had time outside of school to hang out much.

Tomorrow, my friend, Morgan (who is spectacular!), is taking me to a pumpkin patch, and then to a coffee shop for pumpkin lattes. I'm a huge lover of all hot drinks (especially coffee and chai though), so I'm really excited.

Then Monday I get to go to the mountains, with one of my favorite ladies, Dana (or Great Dane as I call her). Needless to say, I'm super excited :) :) :)

Yesterday I got to dress as a nun for Extra Credit (it had to be a character from Canterbury Tales) and I got full points! Woo-hoo!
This is my nun picture:

Please don't judge me.

My heart will go on...

I have discovered that even though I thoroughly dislike watching the Titanic (I know, I know, I'm a disgrace to women everywhere) i love the reenactment pictures we take. My sister, Katie is in all of them. haha... awesome. My favorite is of Katie and our friend Taylor. It was hard to take on the confined quarters of the boat on the way to camp though.

"Please, just save me from this darkness."

I am going to develop an ulcer and go die.

Thank goodness I've already got my foreign language credits... oh but i miss French. :(

If piano would start back I think I'd be a happier person.

If Geometry would decide that it really needs to die I'd really love it.

And if I was allowed to try out for some plays I might get over my fear of getting up in front of people.

But hey, my family sort of really rocks. Which is definitely shown in this picture. (katie who has the gorgeous auburn hair, decided to do my hair).

P.S. I finished Romeo and Juliet last night. I should have been reading Beowulf... but whateves.

Hodge-podge (wait... is that one word?)

Yesterday was fantabulous. We went to Amelie's which is a wonderful French bakery. Its so cute and the food is delicious! Ah... I love it! If you are in Charlotte, North Carolina you should most definitely go there. So awesome. After Amelie's we went to Urban Outfitters (also love) and I found an awesome Owl hat... which is not on their website apparently... :( but I now have something else I want for my birthday.

I'm missing my long hair today. :(

Long hair:

Hair now:

I'm desperately trying to grow it out. Come on little hairs, grow!!!

Okay, I know this is a TERRIBLE picture, but my camera broke, so I'm resorting to Photo booth. But here was my outfit yesterday. This probably sounds stupid, but I'm a bit proud of it. :)

Today I'm really missing all my camp friends. :( Sadness. Sometimes I wish I could live in Cleveland, where most of them live, but then I think of all the drama that goes on... and then I'm glad that I live where I do. I just wish I could see them more.
