Today has not been especially wonderful. I have been hoping to go to visit some family friends, and two days before we are supposed to leave, I get sick. My question is, why are there colds right at the beginning of summer break? What kind of sick joke is that? No pun intended.
So, to get better, I have been lying in bed reading Harry Potter, drinking tea, neti-ing my nose, and calling downstairs for juice. In some ways it has been restful, but it sort of really sucks.
This video has been helping me get through the dreadful sickness though. Can you believe her voice sounds like that live? Sometimes it makes me supremely jealous. This song is called Waves and it is by Holly Miranda (I actually got this song for free from Starbucks via their free pick of the week, which is amazing).
